We desire to put Christ first in all of our work and to glorify Him in all aspects of your time with Onthatile.

We aim to touch the lives of everyone in the group to give them a view of what missionary life is like and to touch their heart for missions.  We think this will help the group to better know how to pray for missionaries, to develop a heart for more short term missions trips, and to touch the hearts of individuals considering full time missions.

We want to get lots of work accomplished with your group without overworking you.  We understand you have to go back to the states and return to work or school so we want your time here to be fruitful but also allow time to relax.

We want you not just to do things, but to understand how this ministry and others work, to gain an understanding of SA culture, and as a result, to better be able to understand the how Christianity transcends culture and how to pray for your brothers and sisters all over the world.

We want our groups to be able to have fun and a trip they will never forget.  We hope this trip helps individuals develop a heart for missions and ministry like they have never had before!

The types of ministry you may be involved in include:

Hosting a Holiday Bible Club (VBS) for local children.
Helping with construction and renovation projects on our property.
Providing care and relief for our staff in the baby home.
Visiting and encouraging local pastors and churches
